Advisement & Transfer Services
Students - Be Ready to Succeed
To get the most out of your Advisement Session, we suggest you do the following:
- Be sure you are Enrolled in the College. Follow the Steps to Enrollment here.
- Take ASSET, COMPASS or CELSA Placement testing at the Testing Center
- Have your official transcripts sent to MCC - follow the directions under the "Request Transcripts" section.
- Prepare a list of questions and do some research before your appointment.
- Collect copies of curriculum check sheets & unofficial transcripts to bring with you.
- Be prepared to take notes and ask questions at your session.
You should also know how to read and use:
- semester class schedules,
- college catalog,
- curriculum check sheets, and
- your ASSET, COMPASS, & CELSA test scores.
