Serving our communities

Sharing our passion for the arts

MCC loves the arts and we love sharing our enthusiasm by taking our art and performances to area schools, shelters, civic groups and other public venues. We’ve been proud to perform for local audiences and look forward to expanding our reach into the community in the years ahead!

Music

Music

MCC Music Department faculty frequently visit area high schools to work with school bands and choirs, often helping them prepare for area competitions. Sharing their passion and advanced techniques encourages young students to pursue higher education and develop their talents.

Theatre

Theatre Arts

Theatre Arts students and faculty go the extra mile by taking their shows on the road, staging performances in many public schools during the year. This season area elementary students are enjoying the MCC production of Alice in Wonderland.

Dance

Dance

MCC dancers stage performances throughout the community each year. Dozens of adults and children were brought to their feet dancing at a homeless shelter. Performing Latin dances at the Latin Street Festival, the Dance Department raised money for charities by appearing at a variety of benefit galas.

Art

Art

MCC Art program students work on meaningful community projects such as panoramic murals under the direction of Hugo Medina, adjunct art faculty member, who has more than 30 murals throughout Phoenix.
