Understanding the Process

When a grant is awarded to MCC, the Project Director will need to implement and complete the project’s activities in compliance with the grant’s terms and conditions.

STEP 1:

Once the award notice is received, submit a Governing Board action item for approval or complete an Administrative Acceptance of Grant form for signatures.

STEP 2:

Participate in a New Grant Orientation, meet District/College Grant staff, and review/comprehend the grant’s terms and conditions.

STEP 3:

Submit Institutional Review Board (IRB) review documents, if needed.

STEP 4:

Conduct the project’s activities as scheduled, utilize the grant in a timely manner, and comply with the terms and conditions.

STEP 5:

Prepare project progress, financial, and close-out reports as required
