Survivors’ and Dependents’ Educational Assistance Program
Dependents or Spouses of Veterans may be eligible for educational assistance if:
- The veteran died while in the service.
- The veteran died as the result of a service-connected disability.
- The veteran became permanently or totally (100%) disabled as a result of a service-connected disability.
New Students
- Follow the Steps to Enrollment for a New Student
- You will need a copy of Birth Certificate (Child's) and Parent's file number.
- You will need a copy of Marriage Certificate (Spouse) and Veteran's file number.
- Complete all the necessary paperwork
Transfer Students
- Complete the 22-5495 online
Change of Place on Program of Study
- Complete Pay Request
- G.I. Bill Standards
- If you have attended another college you need to request your transcripts.
Continuing Students
- Complete Pay Request

The dependent or spouse will receive their benefits by the fifth of the following month.
