Complete the Application

All MCC study abroad programs have the same application process. It's easy to get started!

1. Choose the program that is right for you. Review the study abroad courses offered for 2013.
2. Download and complete the study abroad application making certain you understand any specific program requirements.
   The Summer 2013 study abroad application deadline is  March 1, 2013.  Applications are reviewed and approved on a rolling basis.  Apply early to reserve your place!  Late applications will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
3. Submit application to the Study Abroad Coordinator located in Building NU 6 N-120 at the Southern & Dobson campus.  Students will be contacted by the Program Director within approximately 2 weeks after submission via phone or email to discuss participation in the program.  Once you are accepted into the program, you can apply for a study abroad scholarship.  The scholarship deadline is March 1, 2013.
4. If you plan to apply for financial aid, call or visit the Financial Aid Office to find out about your options.
5. Make your reservation deposit and pay your program fee by March 22, 2013.  If you are a current MCC student, program fee payments can be made to Cashier Services by phone, in-person, or by mail.  Be aware there may be non-refundable deposits.
6. If you are NOT a current MCC student, you will need to apply/reapply for admission first.  Follow the Steps to Enrollment here.
7. Register for your classes after March 1 and pay course tuition by the due date.
8. Apply for your passport or renew your old one (if needed).  Some countries require that your passport be valid at least 6 months beyond the date of your trip.  For more information, visit the US Department of State website.

9. Mandatory Orientation:

April 13, 2013 from 9 am - 2 pm in LB145 in the Elsner Library at the Southern & Dobson campus.

You must attend the mandatory general study abroad orientation. There may be additional required meetings for your specific program. Contact the Program Director for details.

10. Download and print the Student Checklist to be ready to go.

11. Pack your luggage and get ready for your life transforming experience!
