Dedicated employee groups who support the college and the community include the faculty, the professional staff, the administrative staff, the maintenance and operations staff, and the senior employees in the active retirement program.

As one college within a multi-college system, MCC benefits from employee resources provided by the Maricopa County Community College District. Development and enrichment programs are coordinated through the Maricopa District Faculty and Staff Development Committee, a function of the Maricopa Center for Learning and Instruction.

For MCC faculty, the Center for Teaching and Learning administers enrichment programs, including Kaleidoscope, New Faculty Experience, the Distance Learning Mentoring Group, and the Colloquy for Adjunct Faculty Experience. The Professional Growth Committee and the Travel Committee provide additional support for attendance at workshops and conventions.

MCC also sustains a vigorous wellness program and provides a fully equipped and staffed fitness center.

Hiring for all Mesa Community College employee groups is coordinated by the Human Resources office at the District Support Service Center located in Tempe, Arizona.
