Orientations should last about an hour and are best utilized
by the new distance learning student for tips
on how to be successful in their distance learning class(es). These orientations
are designed for students who desire a more "hands on" approach. We also
offer an online orientation for students if the above times are not
convenient.
Online Orientation Available:
MCC Online offers a four-segment, online orientation for
students desiring an introduction to distance learning
at Mesa Community College. This series can be completed
by previous students (as a refresher) as well as by
new distance learning students.
It's recommended that you start with the
first module ("Who Should Take an MCC Online
Course?")
and work
your way through the series.
When you're finished, you may want to investigate
the
online tutorials.
They'll help you with
some the tools you'll use during your class. |
