CLEP

The College-Level Examination Program® (CLEP) helps you receive college credit for what you already know, for a fraction of the cost of a college course.

How long will it take?
CLEP tests are generally 90 minutes, however the College Composition tests can take up to 2 hours.
When do I get my scores?
You will receive an immediate score report for CLEP exams, except exams with essays, such as College Composition.
How much does it cost?
CLEP tests are $115. $90 is paid to College Board when you sign up for a voucher. $25 is paid at Mesa when you take the test. We accept credit and debit cards.
Do I need an appointment?
CLEP testing is by appointment only. To sign up for testing, please register at http://clep.collegeboard.com.
After you've registered, you will have a ticket number. Please call with your ticket number to set up an appointment. Testing is only available at the Southern & Dobson campus.

Freshman Year For Free

Modern States is offering tuition-free, high quality courses online from top institutions for college credit. Students can sign up for the Freshman Year For Free program and access courses from accredited universities. These courses will help you prepare for the CLEP exam which is accepted as college credit.
