Your Academic Plan Code

You will need to have an academic plan code later in the enrollment process. This code will be used to set up your academic plan, which could be a degree, certificate, or area of interest.

If you are planning on earning a degree or certificate, follow the steps below to determine the four-digit academic plan code for the program you are interested in. If you are not planning on getting a degree or certificate, skip to the table below.

Step 1

Find the program you are interested in by using the options above to explore what MCC offers by using one of the four blue buttons above.

Step 2

After choosing which program interests you, find the degree or certificate you want. Click on “Course List” or “Course Sequence”

Example: Finding the Academic Plan Code or Major Code

Step 3

Make note of the four-digit academic plan code. This is also called a major code. You'll use this number later during enrollment and academic advisement
