MCC Office of Institutional Effectiveness (OIE) Mission

The Office of Institutional Effectiveness (OIE) promotes student success and continuous improvement by supporting institutional research and planning, data analytics, assessment, accreditation, and grants. We work to transform data into actionable insights that support and empower administrators, faculty, and staff to make informed decisions that advance the college’s mission.

Need OIE Help? 

Employees

Employees should visit OIE on the employee Intranet, including our intranet home page and our centralized data reporting repository, GetData @ MCC (employee login required). 

Student or External Researchers

Those seeking to conduct research at MCC, either with college data or with human subjects, should review information on our human subjects research pages and research review processes. 

Media Data Requests 

Members of the professional or student media seeking data from OIE should contact MCC Media Relations. 

Public Records Requests

Members of the public seeking public records may submit a records request to the Maricopa County Community College District Office of Public Stewardship.

Employees seeking assistance or information regarding grants should visit the Grants Development & Management Intranet page for more details. External partners with grants-related questions can contact Rena McKean, MCC Grants Manager. 

Accreditation

Information regarding MCC's institutional and programmatic accreditations is publicly available. Accreditation-related questions can be directed to MCC's HLC Accreditation Liaison Officer, Dennis Mitchell.
