Learn PowerPoint software to produce professional-quality presentation visuals.

Microsoft Word

Learn word processing software, text-editing, and the basic formatting of documents.

  • Create business documents

Microsoft Excel

Learn computer spreadsheet skills for solving business problems using Excel, including calculations, forecasting, and projections.

  • Load and setup a spreadsheet program
  • Build a spreadsheet using labels, numbers,
    and formulas
  • Enter, delete, edit, and share spreadsheet
    data
  • Create a graph based on spreadsheet data
  • Sort data on a spreadsheet
  • Create reports using spreadsheets
  • Save a spreadsheet and retrieve it
Microsoft Outlook

Learn messaging and word processing functions of a Microsoft Outlook electronic work state.

  • Describe the features of Outlook electronic mail
  • Locate menu options
  • Identify system defaults
  • Create, edit, delete, print, display, and answer a mail message
  • Forward messages
  • Save and retrieve a message
  • Format text
  • Use tools such as speller and Thesaurus

Course Delivery

Currently, IT for Technicians consists of a customizable, in-person 40 to 80 hour training program.

This program will be offered via asynchronous online format in the near future.
