In collaboration with the Microsoft Imagine Academy, U.S.VETS and Pipeline AZ, the Maricopa IT Institute-East Valley is excited to offer a Microsoft Certification program designed specifically for Veterans.
Program Description
This course is designed to provide students with an assessment of their knowledge of fundamental networking concepts and to prepare for the MTA 98-366 Exam. Students will gain a solid foundational knowledge of Windows Server, Windows-based networking, network management tools, DNS, TCP/IP, names resolution process, and network protocols and topologies.

Meet our Instructor Xenia Johnston
Her passion for teaching and learning led Xenia Johnston to the Network Academy of Mesa Community College approximately 12 years ago to specialize in the Microsoft technologies discipline. She is a seasoned industry technical specialist. Her introduction to technology some 40 years ago was with IBM. After 22 years at the company, Xenia explored opportunities in telecommunications with Telus Canada and Verizon, Technology Consulting with Accenture and a host of other relevant engagements as well. Xenia enjoys working with students and making difficult concepts appear simple.
