Join students, families, friends, and others considering higher education at Mesa Community College's ThunderDay 4–7 pm Thursday, March 31, 2016 on our Southern & Dobson Campus.

We'll have interactive demonstrations, food trucks, games for the kids, robotics, live music, fashion shows, rattlesnakes, and more. If you're eligible, you can also apply for scholarships and discover all the ways MCC makes attending an award-winning community college so affordable.

Scholarship Details

Please note that the scholarship application will only be available at the event.

* Eligibility requirements for the $500 scholarship:

  • Award Amount: $500 award per student (limited to one per family)
  • Deadline: 5pm on Friday, April 1, 2016
  1. Submit the completed scholarship application during MCC’s ThunderDay event at the registration table, OR before 5pm on Friday, April 1, 2016 at Enrollment Services.
  2. Enrollment Services are located at the Enrollment Center, Bldg 39 at Southern and Dobson Campus or Mesquite Building, M-113 at the Red Mountain Campus.
  3. Must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for 2016-2017.
  4. Must demonstrate financial need as determined by the FAFSA.
  5. Must be an Arizona resident or have lawful immigration status as determined by Maricopa Community Colleges District.
  6. Must be enrolled in a minimum of six credit hours during Fall 2016.
  7. Must be enrolled at Mesa Community College by June 30, 2016 (NO EXCEPTION).
  8. Must maintain a 2.0 Cumulative Grade Point Average (if continuing student).
