Sign up for (5 or 15 minute) orientation

Orientations are only offered during our regular business hours of operation which for Fall and Spring are Monday through Thursday 9am - 7pm and Friday 9am - 1pm. (Summer schedule may vary)

Faculty teaching from our course offerings are invited to request to bring their classes for a brief orientation to LB 175.  Please fill out a form for each section you teach.

  • The 5-minute is a brief overview of our drop-in tutoring, our hours, our tutors, (etc)
  • The 15-minute is the 5-minute plus a 10-minute demo of your choice. Instructors can choose one of the following as a demo:

    • A) Grammar Tools (an in-house grammar game)

    • B) Basic MLA Formatting (available in Word or Google Docs)

    • C) Brief (and general) explanation of student email and Canvas

Orientations can only be scheduled during our regular business hours. Please provide us with some detailed information in order to be of better service.
