Phi Theta Kappa - official members graduation
You will receive a seal on your graduation diploma and Phi Theta Kappa members will be distinguished on your transcript. Also, you have the option to purchase Phi Theta Kappa regalia: stole $26, tassel $10, honors cord $15, or a key medallion $25. A varying supply of Phi Theta Kappa regalia is available to purchase in the Center for Community & Civic Engagement in the Lower Level of the Kirk Student Center Building 35-N. Our department accepts cash, check, debit/credit card.
Honors Program
Students graduating from the Honors Program are giving a medallion to wear at graduation. Please visit the Honors office for more information in the Kirk Student Center South Side main floor.
Graduating with Honors
When you pay the $25 graduation fee at cashiers, you are paying for participation in activities, your cap, gown, 5 announcements, a diploma cover, and, if you qualify based on GPA, 1 honors cord per distinction. You will pick these items up in the bookstore with the receipt. The Graduation with Honors distinctions are as follows:
- Highest distinction (3.90 to 4.0): gold cord
- High distinction (3.70 to 3.89): red cord
- Distinction (3.5 to 3.69): white cord
These items will be picked up in the bookstore.
