Free Food Distribution at Red Mountain

Stop by the Red Mountain campus on Wednesday, January 20 for our We Care Wednesday food distribution. This is free and open to the public, anyone in need of food assistance is encouraged to stop by!

This is a drive through distribution, and volunteers will place the food in your trunk/vehicle. Please wear a mask!

The Red Mountain campus is located at 7110 E. McKellips Rd (Power/McKellips). Enter campus on Red Mountain way off of McKellips Rd and follow the signs leading you to the distribution. Please share this information!

We Care Wednesday happens on the first Wednesday of each month at the Southern/Dobson campus, and the third Wednesday of each month at the Red Mountain campus. Scroll down for a full schedule.

MCC's Cutest Pet Contest Winers

As part of our Fall 2020 Finals Week Fun, Student Life and Leadership held a contest to find the Cutest Pets at MCC. We collected over 100 dogs, cats, rabbits, tortoises, birds, lizards, snakes and hedgegogs who competed for the title of "MCC's Cutest Pet."

Nearly 300 votes were submitted to determine the winners of a cat, dog, and exotic pet category. To see photos of the winners, click here. The winners were :

Students Offering Support (SOS)

Every Tuesday at 11 am, your Student Ambassadors will be online to answer questions, offer support, or just to chat! Join them through Google Meet by using this link. The MCC Student Ambassadors are here for you! Stop by and say HI! We're all in this together and it's so important to get engaged on campus, develop friendships and connections to your peers. Get to know some of our MCC student leaders. They know a thing or two, so feel free to ask your questions about being an MCC student!

We Care Wednesday

We Care Wednesday is a food distribution that takes place on the first Wednesday of every month. The food distributions are open to all students and families in need of food assistance:

  • Drive-thru service. A volunteer will place food in your trunk or vehicle. (Walk-up service is available for those without vehicles.)
  • Masks are required. If you are feeling any cold or flu symptoms, please stay home and seek medical treatment.
  • Southern/Dobson: Located in the Southwest parking lot. Please enter from Dobson Road onto Solar Way at the Southern and Dobson campus.
  • Red Mountain: Located in the Red Mountain Way circle. Please enter from McKellips Road and proceed straight towards the Desert Willow building.

Southern/Dobson Dates: Jan. 6, Feb 3, Mar 3, April 7, May 5
Red Mountain Dates: Jan. 20, Feb 17, Mar 17, April 21, May 19* (tentative)
