Survey of the role of forensic anthropologists, from the crime scene to the courtroom. Overview of the exceptional learner with emphasis on factors relating to current practices, identification, characteristics, and educational adaptations. Issues related to mild disabilities, severe disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, intellectual disabilities, and students who are gifted.

Prerequisites: None.

Course Notes: During this course students will conduct a minimum of 15 hours of field experience in a P-12 classroom environment, often requiring an IVP fingerprint clearance card. To begin the IVP card process, go to www.azdps.gov/services/fingerprint/#1 and click on Apply for a Card.

PSY215 Introduction to Sport Psychology 3 Credits

Application of the physiological, behavioral, social, cognitive, and humanistic perspectives in psychology to sport. Includes topics such as optimal performance, correlation, motivation, co-action effect, self-actualization, psycho-behavioral techniques, self-efficacy, and the general health benefits of sport participation.
Prerequisites: PSY101 with a grade of "C" or better, or permission of Instructor.
