An open house will be held 1-3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18, at the Mesa Community College Downtown Center, 145 N. Centennial Way. Published Tuesday, September 8, 2015The Gila County Cowbelles recently awarded two $1,000 scholarships. One went to Kylie Ridley in memory of Cowbelles’ founding member Laura Mae Holder. Ridley is enrolled in Barrett Honors College at Arizona State University to study biomedicine to pursue a career as a veterinarian. A second scholarship donated by the Arizona Cattle Growers Association went to Kelsey Barlow. She plans to pursue a degree in physiology and a career in occupational therapy, enrolling in Mesa Community College....
