MCC Red Mountain professor Andrew Holycross, Ph.D., herpetologist and expert on reptiles in Arizona, is assisting Bob Reed, Ph.D, from the USGS Fort Collins Science Center in Fort Collins, with setting snake traps along a cattail bank at Mittry Lake near Yuma, AZ. Reed is leading a 10-week investigation on the spread of southern and common watersnakes in the West.
