In general, we provide operational support related to property and materials receipt, delivery, disposition and set-up, maintain property records and schedules, set up and removes furniture, equipment and signage for meetings or events, and/or provides document imaging, archival and distribution support. Property Accounting authorizes the removal and/or transfer of property from the owning department’s inventory to other locations with proper documentation.

We are responsible for performing inventory receiving and distribution, coordinating the disposition of surplus property, moving and assembling furniture, providing operational support for room and meeting set-up and providing copying and document imaging services. We are also responsible for identifying, recording and accounting for fixed assets and updating an asset tracking system.

If that sounds complicated - it is!

We are part of a large collection of materials and assets.
