Occupational Health & Safety provides education and guidance to our employees in a collaborative effort to achieve a safe and healthful workplace. Knowing what to do in the event of an emergency is vital. Following all safety guidelines as well as planning and being prepared is a shared responsibility.

Chemical Hygiene Plan and Acknowledgement, REQUIRED for all current and new employees that handle any chemical.

"Chemicals"  are not just necessarily 'dangerous' or used in a lab. It can include simple everyday cleaning products like dish soap or cleaning wipes that are being used for work purposes, as well as things like paints, gasoline, oils, antifreeze, solvents, lubricants, glues and binders, concrete, compressed gasesdeveloperscustodial cleaning products, and more"Chemicals" can be solid, liquid, or gas. 

To 'handle' includes receiving boxes, labeling containers, shipping or stocking, moving bottles or containers from one place to another, or directly handling them by pouring and/or using them.
