Phase I of the Student Services Portal Complex and Kirk Center Expansion Project includes the construction of a new 17,000 gross square foot (gsf) Enrollment Center that will be located east of the existing bookstore.
This new facility is intended to improve student recruiting and retention, and to provide current and prospective students with “one-stop” resources for admissions and records, registration and advisement, financial aid, and cashier services. Updated technology will be used by students for transactional services such as registration, fee payment, admissions, degree audit, etc.
Without a one stop model, students must visit multiple locations on campus at different times. Additional space is required for the transition towards a “self-service” model.
The architectural drawing shows fencing and egress locations during the Student Portal project. The Fencing will be installed after finals so as to not interfere with students egress on the last week of school. Download a pdf.
