Adjunct Faculty

Did you know that all currently hired Adjuncts are automatically a member of the Adjunct Faculty Association (AFA)?

The Adjunct Faculty Association represents all Adjunct Faculty of the ten Maricopa County Community College District regardless of membership or dues, so please contact your Mesa Adjunct Faculty Representatives: nicole.bruno@mesacc.edu or henry.staggs@mesacc.edu to keep you informed of what is happening around the different campuses and at the District.

The Adjunct Faculty Association provides Adjunct Faculty a framework for:

• Educating the public and MCCCD institutions about Adjunct Faculty talents and abilities
• Supporting the advancement of Adjunct Faculty knowledge and skills
• Providing a network for sharing common interests, education, and assistance
• Encouraging effective practices and resource utilization to improve education within the MCCCD
• Advocating for Adjunct Faculty within the structure of the MCCCD policies and guidelines
