REQUIRED AUDITION DATES ARE AS FOLLOWS FOR INSTRUMENTAL - VOCAL TBA SOON):

Please note audition times are not pre-scheduled.  You do not need to show up at a specific time or tell us you are coming. We're counting on you showing up to the MCC PAC Lobby ANYTIME WITHIN THE HOURS listed PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT US REGARDING AUDITIONS JUST SHOW UP READY TO PERFORM. Please note: we don't have a camp administrator to answer calls or emails and trust you to be flexible.

It's ok if you're auditioning for more than one instrument or area. For example, if you're a trumpet player who loves jazz be sure to come prepared with materials for jazz and concert band placement. Let the examiner know on the day of your audition. Auditions are recorded for consistency and reference in order to best place you in an ensemble.

We are not able to provide the high school regional excerpts or all-state jazz music for you however, we've found that most high school directors are happy to help and should be able to direct you to them. Incoming high school students this is a great opportunity for you to get to know your high school directors better!

You can expect to play high school regional etude #1 and scales up to 4 sharps and flats. Jazz, can expect to play All-State etude #1 and may be asked to play a blues over changes in B flat or F (optional).
