All-Arizona Flute Choir

This 2021 event is being planned as a live/online format with a performance video project in lieu of in-person rehearsals and concert. Check back in January for more information

All Arizona Flute Choir in RehearsalHigh School flutists who were selected for the 2020 AMEA Regionals and the designated alternates are eligible to participate. This is a unique opportunity to play with the best high school flutists in Arizona and work with three outstanding flutist-directors.

The flute choir of flute orchestra is comprised of C flutes, a piccolo or two, alto flutes, and bass flutes. Several alto and bass flutes will be provided for participants to play during rehearsals and the concert. The flute choir is an increasingly popular ensemble with an extensive repertoire of original works and transcriptions in many styles.

They are found at universities and in communities across the United States. The National Flute Association features flute choirs extensively at annual conventions.

Friday, May 29 and Saturday, May 30, 2020 - CANCELED

Check-in begins at 1:00pm on Friday

Rehearsals and Sectionals Friday 2:00 - 8:30pm with a dinner break included

Rehearsals Saturday 10:00am - 4:15pm with a break for lunch

Concert on Saturday at 5:00pm l Tickets are only $5.00
