Dance Company

Founded in 1971

The MCC Dance Company was founded by former director, Sandy de Neui.

At that time, the dance productions were informal and performed in a small portable building. The costumes were made by the director and the dancers with donated materials. The music was played on a record player and no special lighting was used.

Today the formal performances are staged in the MCC Performing Arts Center (PAC). Lighting and sound is computerized and costumes are designed and constructed by our own company costumer.

The MCC Dance Company gives dancers the opportunity to perform as well as choreograph. Our dancers come from many different backgrounds which allow us to feature diverse styles in our performances. Guest choreographers and performers also contribute to our productions adding originality and excitement. Our performances are exciting to watch and enjoyable for all walks of life.

We hope to see you at our next performance!
