2017 Glass House - ARCHIVE

The 2018 MCC fashion show, Glass House, featured original designs by nine MCC students.
Glass House, themed after gardening green houses, put the spotlight on the diverse talents of fashion merchandising and design students.
Students led the event planning, marketing, apparel design, modeling and coordination with external entities. MCC theatre costume students also showed costumes designed for the stage.
Keeping with the green house theme, Glass House included a plant, flower, and urban garden vegetable sale by the MCC student Urban Horticulture Club.
MCC Fashion Focus Club Vice President Jessica Kelley, a fashion design student, directed all aspects of the performances.
A Fashion Design student emceed the event.
Students from the East Valley Institute of Technology will provide hair and make-up assistance for models.
Wearable art and other original works from MCC sewing class students were on display.
MCC appreciates the support from Nordstrom's and Neiman Marcus for providing VIP swag bags for participants..
All proceeds from Glass House ticket sales and the silent auction benefited future fashion students in the form of scholarships.
