Technology can influence, inspire, and create with ever-evolving solutions to everyday problems. In this art exhibition, participating artists explore how new media artworks can address themes of our scientific world, identity, privacy, and data. Input/Output will transform the way we look at the technological world through interactive, digital, and analog works in this immersive exhibition.

The Festival is located on the south side of the campus, between the Art Communication building, the Art Gallery, and the MCC Theatre. Designed to be a celebration of student artists and bring numerous MCC departments together. Art, Music, Dance, Theatre, English, Fashion Merchandising, and Interior Design are participating. MCC's Sound Engineering class will run the music and audio for the live performances.

Tents will be set up in the Theatre and Art building courtyard for artists to sell and display their work. There will be visual demonstrations in painting, drawing, and ceramics happening throughout the day, and food will be sold during the Festival as well. A food truck and The Art Gallery will be available during the Festival for community members' enjoyment.

2020 Annual Juried Student Art Show

Reception and Awards Ceremony: Thursday, April 16, from 6 - 8 p.m.

The Annual Juried Student Art Show features the best work from Mesa Community College's Art students from the academic year. Art students can submit work in ceramics, digital illustration, animation, design, drawing, life drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, textiles, 2D, or 3D. A panel of guest jurors selects the work to be featured in the exhibition and also selects recipients for academic scholarships.

If you are a student who has registered for an MCC Art class in the last academic year, we invite you to submit to our free call for entries. Submissions are accepted online until March 8 at 11:59 p.m.

Elemental Cultural Arts Festival

Join us for the Elemental Cultural Arts Festival where the students of Maricopa Community Colleges will be presenting their exciting and eclectic expressions of art. This includes dance, film, visual arts, music, performers, and much more.

This Festival will be held at the Phoenix Art Museum on Monday, March 16, 2020, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Please join us throughout the evening for the diverse performances and more. This event is open to the public.

2020 Artists of Promise Gala and Art Exhibition

The Artists of Promise is an annual gala and exhibition honoring the Chancellors’ Award Winners of Maricopa Community Colleges' student competitions in creative writing, dance/choreography, fashion design, film/media arts, music composition, music instrumental, music vocal, theatre design, theatre performance, and visual arts.

Diverse students from across the valley will take center stage, showcasing their finest artistic work on the stage of the Herberger Theater. There will be an exhibition of the winners of the visual arts competition in the lobby and Passages, the annual publication of the creative writing winners will be available at the Artists of Promise gala performance and exhibition.

The gala will be held on April, 23 2020 at the Herberger Theater
