In the Architecture program at MCC, you’ll learn what you need to begin a career as a technician in architectural design, drafting, or urban development.

You can also use your degree and certificate to continue studying architecture at a four-year university.

A career in architecture requires highly-specific technical skills, knowledge, and experience.

The education and training can be rigorous and challenging, but the rewards are often as great.

The Construction program prepares you to work as a technician in construction drafting, construction inspection, or construction management.

As a drafting technician, you may work in surveying, civil engineering, or you may draft for an architecture firm.

As an inspection technician, you may perform in-home inspections, building inspections, or plan reviews.

As a management technician, you may manage construction companies in the field or in an office, planning, scheduling, cost estimating, and addressing safety issues.
