Important Information about Courses, Support, and Student Success

Dear MCC Student:

Mesa Community College (MCC) cares about your health and well-being, as well as supporting you throughout your academic journey.

As a friendly reminder, all in-person/hybrid classes will resume on Monday, April 6, 2020 in an online/alternative format. Do not go to campus as our physical facilities are closed. All classes that were originally scheduled as online are continuing as scheduled. Check your Student Center and MyInfo App for more specific details about your courses. If you have not taken online classes before, you may find our tips for online learning and information about Canvas very helpful.

In order to provide the support you need, all academic and student support services will continue to be offered remotely (e.g., by telephone, email, chat, and online). All MCC campuses and locations will remain closed for in-person classes and services for the remainder of the Spring 2020 semester. We will continue to provide updates when additional information is made available. As we all navigate the remainder of the Spring semester remotely, we kindly ask that you check the MCC Coronavirus (COVID-19) webpage to find answers to your questions. In addition, our community resources webpage provides a variety of resources, especially if you need assistance with finances, housing, food insecurities, healthcare, and numerous other types of support.

Be sure to contact the assigned faculty member for each of your courses. They will provide you with important information regarding course format changes, any modifications to the syllabus/syllabi, assignments, and other related topics.

We are all in this together and the MCC family is here for you. Even though we all are facing unprecedented circumstances, it is our goal to assist you in as many ways as possible -- both personally and academically.
