While the situation with the CoronaVirus (COVID-19) is constantly evolving, the Center for Disease Control (CDC) has indicated the current risk is low and exposure is unlikely for people living in the United States. At this time, there have not been any reported cases within the Maricopa County Community College District (MCCCD) community of students, faculty, and staff. In order to keep you updated with new information, MCCCD will periodically send you email communication regarding COVID-19.
MCCCD understands the uncertainty surrounding COVID-19 has created anxiety, concern, and in many cases, fear. All precautionary measures are being done to keep us all safe and minimize the possibility of exposure. MCCCD will remain open and classes will resume after Spring Break (3/9-3/13/20). In the event of a MCCCD closure, information will be shared immediately through email, Twitter, Facebook, and our website.
MCCCD continues to actively consult with the Maricopa County Public Health Department and monitors information from the CDC. If you are not feeling well, please take care of yourself, follow the recommended precautions, and contact your medical professional. MCCCD cares about your well-being, as well as, our staff, faculty, and community.
Be careful. Take the proper precautions. Stay healthy.
