- Unify America College Bowl Challenge
-
Date:
For Public:September 7, 15 & 23 (Public Unify Challenge)
For Students: Sept. 27, 28 & 29
Oct. 4, 5, & 6 (Registered Students)
Time: VariesEvent Description/Details:
The Unify America College Bowl is a face-to-face video conversation between two students who attend different schools and may vote differently, live in different geographies, or have different life experiences. Students cover a wide array of issues to share experiences and discover common ground.
Key Facts:
The College Bowl will take place on September 27th, 28th, and 29th and also on October 4th, 5th, and 6th.
There will be two sessions per day: an afternoon session at 5pm EST and an evening session at 8pm EST, giving your students a total of 12 opportunities to participate.
Each session can accommodate 600 students, so there are 7,200 total spots available during the College Bowl.
Your students will be matched with a peer from another school.
Faculty Only - Additionally, we will provide faculty members with administrative links to an interactive dashboard, where faculty members can confirm student attendance and review data regarding things like participant demographics and responses to individual prompts (out of the respect for your students' privacy, the demographic and response data will be an aggregate; only the attendance report will contain individually identifiable information).
Participating professors must complete the registration form below so your students can select your name when they register and so you will have access to the dashboard.
We have a limited number of spaces available, so please submit your registration as soon as possible. Here is the link to our quick registration form: https://app.unifyamerica.org/mesacc/Students will receive a welcome email within an hour of registrations and they reach out immediately, if they do not.
Also, if you would like to try the Unify Challenge for yourself prior to the College Bowl, we are holding public Unify Challenges on:
Wednesday, September 7th, at 7pm CST
Thursday, September 15th, at 7pm CST
Friday, September 23rd, at 1pm CST
