Mesa Community College Center for Community & Civic Engagement MCC Service Scholarship


  • Award Criteria/ Requirements:

  • Applicant must have completed at least 100 hours of service in the community during the past twelve months.
  • Include a letter of recommendation/validation for at least one of your service experiences. This letter should be from the agency supervisor or MCC employee who can validate the service you rendered.
  • All funds must be used at Mesa Community College for tuition and/or books during the Fall 2016 semester. Recipients must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours during the Fall 2016 semester.
  • Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater.*
  • Recipients must attend a scholarship reception to be held in August to receive scholarship funds (date to be announced).
  • Preference will be given to those who have not received this award previously. 
  • Service hours used in the current application may not include those listed on previous MCC Service Scholarship applications.
