This is the gateway scholarship for MCC students to receive nomination to the All-USA Academic Team scholarship as well as serving as the common application for the additional Phi Theta Kappa scholarships.
Students qualify for this service award by completing 250 hours of service during their time at MCC and an application.
The Center for Community & Civic Engagement hosts and collects paperwork for this Individual Development Account (IDA) matched-savings based program. Upon qualifying for this program and saving into the account, they will match 3:1 up to $1000 (i.e. you save $1000, they match that at $3000, for a total of $4000)
Available to individuals, families, and groups that demonstrate outstanding volunteer service and civic participation over the course of a 12-month period of January 1-December 31.
Lists several requirements including documenting at least 100 hours of service in the community during the past twelve months and a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater.
