The new semester is here! For fall 2020, Mesa Community College has added services, expanded tech support and is offering new financial aid opportunities. If you are having difficulty at any point, please take advantage of all the free services MCC offers. If you are having computer or internet issues, let your professor know immediately. From your first day of class, know our free tutoring is here to help you understand and build the knowledge you’ll need to achieve.
Financial Aid – The Maricopa Opportunity Grant, for Fall 2020 and Spring 2021, may cover the costs of tuition and fees plus a textbook allowance for students with financial needs that are not met through other forms of financial aid. Full-time students may be eligible for up to $1,220 per semester. Learn more at maricopa.edu/future-students/opportunity-grant. Also, Fall students can take advantage of a discounted flat tuition rate of $1,020 for 12.5 - 21 credits. Students new to Arizona can register for 8 credits at the resident $85-per-credit-hour rate instead of waiting a year for resident status. Contact our Financial Aid Office to help you find more resources to pay for college.
Curbside Pickup is one way we are keeping you and the MCC community safe while providing access to campus for the books and materials you need for classes as well as food and hygiene supplies you need to thrive. Make appointments and drive up for materials to be placed in your vehicle for these services:

On-Campus Wi-Fi and Computer Work Areas – Only for students enrolled in fall classes, MCC has a limited number of spaces to work in Monday through Friday on both campuses. Bring your own laptop for Wi-Fi areas. Computers are provided in computer work areas. Click here to make your reservations.
Your Safety on Campus – Your health is a priority! Masks or face coverings must be worn by everyone while on campus. Details here. As knowledge of preventing the spread of the corona virus has evolved, MCC cleaning procedures have been enhanced to exceed the Centers for Disease Control and Research recommendations of one deep cleaning or disinfecting, and two touch surface cleanings or disinfecting per day. For example, every two hours the entry/exit doors, water bottle fillers and restrooms in buildings being used by employees and students are being disinfected.
Let the learning begin, Thunderbirds!
