Federal Work Study (FWS) means JOBS on campus for students. It is a form of federal financial aid. To be eligible, you must:
have a complete FAFSA on file at MCC
have an unmet financial need
enroll in at least six (6) credit hours (may vary for summer FWS)

Collect campus recycling, clean bins, sort materials, provide some lifting and outdoor work, observe safety guidelines, communicate effectively with employees; must be reliable and show attention to detail. Must be punctual and reliable. Duties include locking and unlocking doors in order to deliver and pickup A/V equipment. Assist in the assembly of A/V equipment and furniture. Seeking an energetic, self-motivated work-study student with excellent customer service and communication skills that will serve as part of a dynamic team. Physical Science stockroom half-time lab assistant. Responsibilities include assisting lab techs with lab preparation, washing dishes, general cleaning, office, maintenance, and other duties as assigned.
