Federal Work Study (FWS) means JOBS on campus for students. It is a form of federal financial aid. To be eligible, you must:
have a complete FAFSA on file at MCC
have an unmet financial need
enroll in at least six (6) credit hours (may vary for summer FWS)

Job Duties: Greet visitors, determine their need, and refer them to appropriate resource or advisor. Answer phones, create documents using MS Office applications, run errands on campus, make copies, fax, helpful if you have a driver's license to become Golf Cart driver eligible, assist students and public on computers, set appointments. Must have basic computer skills and excellent customer service skills.

Work Hours: Late mornings into afternoons available. Must be available to work until 5pm on Fridays.

Job Duties: Seeking an energetic, self-motivated work-study student with excellent customer service and communication skills that will serve as part of a dynamic team. Must demonstrate a commitment to service excellence and student success in performance of job duties.
Ideally, you will feel comfortable working with databases, Excel spreadsheets and generating reports. Familiarity with Microsoft applications; Word, Excel, and Power Point is a plus.
Experience with recruitment, sales and/or marketing preferred.

Job Duties: Requires an Arizona Driver's License. Collect campus recycling while sorting materials, cleaning recycling bins, lifting and outdoor work in hot and cold temperatures. Communicate effectively with employees, reliable, attention to detail. Hours are flexible around school schedule during hours of Tues-Fri 6:30am-3pm. Must be available for at least 3 hours straight.

Direct students: safety procedures, recordkeeping and more per LEC policy. Stay up-to-date on Best Practices in learning assistance by participating in paid tutor training. Must have successfully completed BIO202 (Human Anatomy & Physiology II). Successful completion of BIO205 (Microbiology) a plus. Knowledge of course content of subject area.
