About this event

Clay. A magic material that allows you to make something out of nothing.

A friendly and familiar substrate, clay is a medium that mirrors what artists and designers alike do best: create a new idea or object to help, to inspire, and to communicate. This invitational exhibition will demonstrate concepts in contemporary ceramics with work from professional, local artists using clay alone, or blended with other materials or mediums.

The artist and community reception will be held on Thursday, December 6 from 6 - 9 p.m.

Featuring work from the following exhibiting artists; Jesse Armstrong, Tiffany C. Bailey, Susan Beiner, Nicholas Bernard, Sandy Blain, Eric Boos, Tom Budzak, Christine Cassano, Magda Gluszek, Halldor Hjalmarson, Elliott Kayser, Hakyoung Kim, Wen-Dan Lin, Sandra Luehrsen, Patricia Manarin, Nao Matsunaga, Mary Meyer, Farraday Newsome, Jeff Reich, Kazuma Sambe, Patricia Sannit, Jeff Schmuki, Beth Shook, Jonah Skurky-Thomas, Randy Schmidt, and Danielle Wood.

During the run of this exhibition, the gallery will be closed for mid-year recess from December 24, 2018 to January 1, 2019.
