A Page from the Gospel of Thomas

The Nag Hammadi manuscript of the Gospel of Thomas is written in Coptic -- a late Egyptian language written with a modified Greek alphabet. This particular copy dates to the late 300s, but three Greek fragments found in the 1880s at Oxyrhynchus date to around 200.
