| Course Description | Additional principles of structure and function of living things at molecular, cellular, and organismic and higher levels of organization. Field trips may be required at students' expense. Prerequisites: Bio181 or permission of instructor. |

Instructional Philosophy |
My role as an instructor is to select information and activities that will assist you in developing the knowledge and skills to succeed, both in this course and in your future life. In other words, I provide you with the opportunity to learn. However, we must both remember that all of the responsibility for learning rests on your shoulders; no one can “learn for you.” Ultimately, what you gain by taking this course, and how it benefits you in later life, depends on your efforts. |
