Daily reading and written assignments, questions and group exercises, projects and discussions (5-25 points each), 2 critical papers (25 and 35 points), 8 podcasts(10 points each) and 5-7 composition book assignments (5 points each), pop quizzes (3-5 points each). You are expected to be prepared for class each day by completing the readings, summaries and questions and to participate in class discussions and assignments. You are expected to maintain academic honesty and attend classes as noted below. Plagiarism of any kind will be rewarded with a failing grade for the course.
Students will be required to have dependable internet access and an MCC email account in order to access the portal and WebCT. Final grades for all MCC classes will only be available online through the portal or by phone. All students are required to have a composition book and a 3 ring binder to keep all papers, graded assignments, handouts, etc. for the semester. Any errors in recorded grades must be supported by the original graded document in order to be corrected. I do not accept any papers/assignments by email.
