Grading

All written assignments will be graded for content, accuracy, originality, adherence to instructions and requirements and mechanical soundness (see MLA style manual). All outside papers/projects/summaries must be typed according to class instructions and are due at the beginning of class. Assignments sent by email must be Word documents (.doc or .rtf) and sent as an attachment (required for RDM) and are due an hour before class. Papers submitted in/as the body of an email will be returned. NO LATE PAPERS WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR POINTS. All points are equally weighed and final grades will be calculated on a 10% scale.
