The Music Business Program at MCC

...has developed an innovative curriculum designed to prepare highly qualified individuals for careers in today's music industry. This program is designed for both the performing artist, as well as the business student with limited performing experience.  Offering an associates degree and a certificate, this program also provides transferability options to many 4-year institutions.

The MCC Music Business program combines a flexible curriculum with emphasis in business, along with performing arts industry related courses and experiences. This program will also allow students the opportunity to obtain knowledge within the classroom setting; gain technical skills through written assignments, business plan design, and presentations; experience real-world situations through production and administration of actual performing arts projects and internships; and ultimately foster an aesthetic and creative understanding of performance as both an art and a profession.
