The instructor reserves the right to change the syllabus. Any changes will be announced on this webpage and via email.
Honesty is required. Any instances of cheating (plagiarizing, falsifying, aiding another in cheating, etc.) will result in loss of points, expulsion from and/or failure of the course. Please see the student handbook for a complete discussion of academic integrity.
The instructor is willing and happy to assist any student. Please let me know if you need help. Those with disabilities should inform me (even if you are not formally enrolled as a student with disabilities). Test anxiety and learning disabilities certainly qualify for assistance. Don't be shy.
*If you have or think you have a disability, including a learning
disability, please contact Disability Resources & Services to make an
appointment for appropriate accommodations. 480-461-7447. DRS is located in building 37, on the east side of the courtyard next to the Kirk Student Center. We are open from 8-8 M-Th, and 8-5 on Fridays.
Absences
College policy dictates that a student may be dropped after the 3rd absence. It is the student’s responsibility to withdraw from class if this is what he/she wants or needs. The instructor will withdraw students upon request (visit, phone, note, email) until May 3, 2007. Otherwise, an absent/failing student will receive an "F" for this course.
You signed up for the course, it's up to you to withdraw!
Elligible absences: official school activities; in some instances, the instructor may grant immunity based on her decision that extraordinary circumstances apply in your case.
