Chinese religion often amounts to a mixture/s of Daoism, Confucianism and
Buddhism. Students from China tell me there is no religion in that country.
True, the communist party long-ago tried to end all forms of religion in the
country with their own "new' religion - communism. It is also true that the
category "religion" is rarely used in China. Instead, religion can be seen
as a way of life. Expect a dazzling mixture.
