Students will need to log into MyITLab. Remember to use Internet Explorer.

For the Windows Lab, there is a concepts quiz to complete.

The questions for the quiz are based on the Windows & supplement include with the purchase of a new textbook bundle.

There is also a video and Powerpoint presentation that can be used as a reference in MyITLab.

Students have 3 attempts to complete the assignment and the highest score of the 3 will be recorded.

Log into MyITLab

Click on Course Content tab.

Included in most folders are videos and/or Powerpoint presentations. Students are NOT required to view them; they are listed as additional references.

To get to the Windows assignment in MyITLab
Click on Chapter 1 Getting Started with Windows 7.
Click on Windows 7 Getting Started End-of-Chapter Quiz

After a few seconds, the quiz will launch.

Select your answer, and click Next Question.

You can revisit any of the questions by click on the question number displayed across the top.

After answering the last question, click on Finish: Submit for grading.

There is also a download assignment to practice downloading, saving, editing, and submitting a file. There will be a download assignment for each application, so make sure you under stand this process. Need to allow popups for this to work correctly.

Navigate to the main list of content by clicking on My Course above the Windows content.

Scroll down and click on Chapter 2: Common Features of Office 2010.

View the Common Features Video.

Click on the Practice Download Assignment. Complete the steps as listed on the assignment page, but for this assignment only complete steps 1, 2, and 14.

For all download assignments, a sample of the solution is provided in PDF format and it is usually listed before or after the actual download assignment. Review and use as needed.

The purpose of this assignment to allow students to practice downloading, editing, saving, and uploading MyITLab assignments. Review the instructions included with the download, and for this assignment only complete steps 1, 2, and 14. 5 pts
