In this group activity students will introduce themselves to the group and then to the class.
- Students will be assigned to a group of 4 members, with each member taking on one of the responsibilities. All members contribute to the discussion equally:

- Checker: Makes sure that each member wants to share the interesting fact that was recorded about them with the class.
- Facilitator: Gets the group to select the most interesting or unique individual fact to share with the class.
- Investigator: Asks the instructor questions for the group if clarification is needed.
- Begin the introductions within the group by sharing the following:
- Name
- Major
- Rate your experience and knowledge of computer software and computer hardware as beginner, intermediate, or advanced
- An interesting fact about yourself
- The entire class will reconvene for individual introductions and to share the group's most interesting or unique individual fact.
