- MyMathLab Student
Starter Kit which contains the Student Access Code (packaged
with new books purchased through MCC bookstore - if your
book did not come with one of these, they can be purchased
online at http://students.pearsoned.com/get-started.html
)
- Online
Textbook Only: Some students choose to purchase only the
access code online when they register for the class and use the
online textbook. The online textbook is just an electronic copy
of the textbook with some multimedia features added. Other
students like to have the physical textbook available since it
is easier to read and access. This choice is up to you.
The online access code can be purchased when you set up your
course account and costs about $72. Just click the Purchase
Online Access link when you begin your CourseCompass
Registration process. You will need a major credit card for
this.
- Internet access
- Off campus from your
work, home, or other location.
- On campus in the MCC
library at Southern/Dobson or Red Mountain.
- Valid email account that
you check regularly
- This should be an
account that you maintain and check regularly. If you do not
have an email account, you can get one through MCC. Accounts
can be set up on the MCC homepage at http://www.mc.maricopa.edu
.
- Calculator
- This does not need to
be a graphing-type calculator, but you should have a calculator
of some type. You will be allowed to use calculators on
homework and tests, so it will help you to get one early and
learn how to use it.
