Sending Assignments by Internet E-Mail:
Questions, comments, and general communications with your instructor are handled in the regular e-mail terminal, which does not have the full ability to format papers that most English courses require. When you want to send a fully formatted word processing document, you must use the "Attachment" feature of an Internet e-mail program. Read the on line instructions that come with your e-mail program regarding sending fully formatted documents as an attachment. | **Note: It is always the student's responsibility to view the material and submit assignments on the due dates. If a student has difficulty with home equipment, or the Internet provider, or with understanding the technology that allows home study, the main backup provided by the college is the MCC Multi-Use Computer Lab, where everything is configured and technical help is provided. The student may not use equipment or Internet failure as an excuse for not completing an assignment. Distance learning students who cannot come in to the lab should always practice backup procedures like printing out assignments ahead of the due date, downloading lectures in advance, etc., and not rely on the technology working "at the last minute." |
