Alternatives if Home Equipment Fails
**Important!! Students viewing their English curriculum from home by Internet have two backup systems if their Internet link to the college fails, or there is an equipment failure at home. And let's face it, this is new technology, and the equipment and technical software does not always perform as expected and required. When you can not get the necessary lectures and curriculum from home, you have other options:
1. The MCC Multi-Use Computer Lab:
The MCC Computer Lab is a multi-use lab with both Windows based and Mac networked computers. The lab's computer stations are available on a first come, first serve basis. These computers have all the software that you need for this class. When you enrolled in this course, you paid a fee, which includes the use of MCC's lab. If you need to use this lab, you will need to have your MCC Student Card which may be obtained by taking your class receipt to the Student Union's Student desk and requesting a student card. See the Q&A's, #5, for information on how to log on to your mail from the computer lab.
2. The MCC Library
The MCC library has over 200 Windows and Mac computers that are networked, connected to the Internet, and have MS Word as part of their software. These can be used on a first come, first serve basis. They also have software for you to check your MCC e-mail. See the Q&A's, #5, for information on how to log on to your mail from the library.
3. The Public Library
