Before Class Begins Install: Ensure Windows, Internet Explorer, and Notepad (or Web editing software) is installed on your system  and that you have Internet access from home (or obtain Student ID if you will be using MCC's lab)
Install/Update
:  A virus protection program of your choice (i.e. Nortons Antivirus; McAfee; AVG; Penicillin)
Install: Adobe 6 Reader
(available free from MCC's Technology Services
Check your System for Pop-up Stoppers/Firewalls:
If you have one, learn how to temporarily disable the pop-up stopper feature.
Create: Your MCC Email account (if not already existing) and read mail from Instructor.
Buy:
Your textbook (if you haven't already done so)
